GWRC and the Wairarapa Moana team ran a similar event last year that proved extremely popular with local people and visitors to the region.  This year the programme has been developed to include two short talks and several interactive experiences along the lake edge.

The venue is at the northern end of Lake Wairarapa and easily found. From the Martinborough to Featherston road take the last turn on the left before Featherston – which is Murphy’s Line. At the end of Murphy’s Line turn right into Ashby Line at the end of Ashby Line turn left which takes you to the lake. Take the right entrance into the lakeside grounds.

There is no need to register, just roll up. However to help the organisers estimated the number coming it would be helpful if you could contact: toni.delautour@gw.govt.nz or 027 240 4732 if you intend to come. Last year they expected thirty people and were a bit overwhelmed when over eighty turned up.
