Destination Wairarapa has opened a new email service that provides a useful, easy to read summary of what is coming up in the region.

The weekly email developed by the regional tourism organization is Called ‘Wairarapa when and where’ It provides a summary of what’s happening in the following week and useful links to the www.Wairarapanz.com website.

“We know that people are busy and sometimes there’s so much happening over the Wairarapa that it is easy to miss something like an established event such as the Martinborough Fair or new events on the calendar like the Olive Harvest Festival” said the Destination Wairarapa Manager Barb Hyde.

“We also know that locals play a huge part in inviting friends to come here. Therefore if locals know what’s on we believe it will help bring more visitors to the region”.

Destination Wairarapa have provided information in a less sophisticated format for moteliers to pass on to their guests for some years. But the new format is free, easy to read and available to everyone.

Mis. Hyde invites interested people to sign up on line at: www.wairarapa.com/whenandwhere
