Returned after 86 Years

April 18, 2016 April 2016 Comments Off on Returned after 86 Years

returned-after-86-years David Harris, the Patron of the Martinborough Collie Club, was surprised at the return of a cup which the Club had presented to Bob McLeod for his outright win with his dog ‘Trim’ in 1930.

As this had been a one off rather than annual event on the Club’s competitive calendar the cup remained Bob McLeod’s to keep until it was recently discovered by his niece Barbara McPhail who returned it to the Club.

THE POWER OF BREATHING

April 18, 2016 April 2016 Comments Off on THE POWER OF BREATHING

You have likely heard the phrase “take a few deep breaths and you’ll feel better”. Amazingly this is true on a number of physiological and emotional levels, but why is this and how can you do it effectively to improve your health?

General Manager Corlette Doherty explains that the first step is to conduct an audit, which will involve processes and policies being examined and necessary alterations and upgrading carried out to six rooms. Advice for the work that will be required has already been sought and a plan is in place. Once the audit process has been carried out, and assuming the answer is ‘yes’, Wharekaka will then apply for a contract with the DHB. … Continue Reading
