Kuranui College’s 1st XI Boys football team is aiming to regain the Wairarapa Secondary Schools football title after narrowly missing out in a tight final last season.

The boys held the Wairarapa Secondary Schools trophy in both 2014 and 2015 and are determined to bring it home in 2017. They have already made a great start to this season, securing a number of important wins against strong teams such as Rathkeale and Wairarapa College, and are currently sitting at the top of the table. … Continue Reading

I am terrified of flying and try to avoid it as much as possible. I never used to be like this, but have had more than one highly uncomfortable landing into Wellington airport. The last one was so scary I swore I would never get on a plane again. The trouble is that I have family who live in all different parts of the world, so if I want to see them I need to fly. I have sweating palms just contemplating getting back on to a plane. Do you have any advice?

Jazz in Martinborough (JIM) is gearing up for its 7th spring festival of jazz, which is due to start in just two months, running from Thursday 31 August until Sunday 3 September.
