Country Women’s Institute.

If so, please don’t throw them away.

The Martinborough Museum is currently re-organising its picture collection and we would like to make this as complete as possible.    If you have pictures showing people, places or events from the past we love to hear from you.

Photos do need to include names, dates and location and have a connection to Martinborough or the surrounding area.   We can take copies if you want to keep your originals

Everything packed ready to be transported.

I don’t know if you were aware, but over the weekend Janice Mills started collecting bedding and towels for families in need in the Waipawa, Central Hawkes Bay.

By Monday morning she was so overwhelmed with the local response that she’d received more than she could cope with.

A number of Martinborough ladies helped sort and pack everything, while Lance and Tracey Phelps have carted a lot of the donated goods north.

Also Andy Donaldson is looking to organise two truckloads of fencing supplies; posts, rails, wire etc to be delivered, one truck to Tinui and one to Hawkes Bay.  His phone number is 021 628084.   Farmers, vineyard owners or lifestyler property owners with fencing supplies they could donate to please contact Andy.
