Docking
Lambing had gone well with twins everywhere
So before too long the call for docking was here
Instructions were to appear – but at the same time keep out of sight
Till a call to pick up the scrim and run with all my might

Get up here Bandit…get out of it Jake…way out there Cap
While the dogs ran to command I sat with the scrim on my lap
Down the gully and up my side towards me they came
If those lambs break…I’ll who he’ll blame!
