Exciting-new-rose-show Martinborough’s famous ROSE & FLOWER SHOW is only six weeks away, and this year hopefully will be the best yet! Plans for Saturday November 14th in the town’s equally famous Town Hall are well on the way.

The Committee are pulling out all the stops to encourage new exhibitors and, of course, crowds of visitors to this annual fund-raising event. Last year donations were made to the Town Hall fund for purchase of tables and one to the Life Flight Trust. The Show needs your support. … Continue Reading

Double-Gold-for-Alexander-Vineyard Boutique Martinborough winery, Alexander Vineyard, has just scooped 2 Gold medals for its pinot noir wines in the 2015 New Zealand International Wine Show where over 2,100 wines were entered.

The Gold medals were for their Alexander Martinborough Pinot Noir 2014 and Alexander Dusty Road Pinot Noir 2014, a remarkable 100% success rate as these were the only two wines that Alexander Vineyard submitted to the show. … Continue Reading
