Spicy beef, kiwifruit and avocado 

Ingredients 

150 gr Beef fillet (in one piece) 

3 golden kiwifruit

1 ripe but firm avocado 1 tbs soy sauce

1 soft leafy lettuce

2 tbs olive oil

2tbs extra virgin olive oil

1 tsp Tai hot chilli sauce 

8 – 10 large green olives

1 lime,  juice and zest

parsley to garnish 

salt and pepper to taste

Method

Cover all surfaces of the beef with black pepper and place on bowl 

with soy sauce, 1 tbs of olive oil and chilli sauce. Leave to marinate for at least two hours. 

Heat fry pan until very hot. Add the second tbs of olive oil. 

Pat the  beef dry and sear all surfaces of beef.

Reduce the heat and let cook for further 3 – 4 minutes.

Let beef cool while you prepare the salad

 Peel the kiwi fruit and avocado, cut the kiwifruit into thick slices and avocado into wedges. Cut fruit from olives 

Slice the beef very thinly

Make dressing mixing the virgin olive oil, and lime juice.

Place lettuce leaves in bowl and spread the beef, kiwifruit, olives and avocado on top.

Drizzle the dressing over
