A big thank you
To all our friends, neighbours, and all who sent good wishes, cards, flowers and gifts while we were going through our recent ordeal. For all the support you showed my husband Patrick and our daughter Alison and family it meant a great deal.
Last but not least Dr Steve Philip and his medical team a special thanks, we are very fortunate to have you in Martinborough.
Many Thanks from Val & Patrick Pedlow
A ‘Bouquet’
From this local: praise for our Council and the Martinborough gardening team for the excellent developing display in the garden beds in the square. These are a delight and will be even better when the scarlet poppies come fully into flower. There can’t be many places with parsley and pretty kale featured in their town’s centre. The layout is refreshingly different too. Thanks, team, for ‘thinking outside the square’!

Road courtesy appreciated
I’ve been riding my bike for over a year now in and around Martinborough, and out on the, Longbush Gladstone roads. In all that time I’ve only ever experienced great consideration from other road users. Most of our country roads aren’t built with vehicles travelling at different speeds in mind. So when you’ve given me space on those blind corners, and those bloody narrow stretches of road, know that I appreciate you thinking of my safety and enjoyment, and that I’m trying to do my best to be seen and keep out of your way too.
A big thanks for sharing the road to all you locals, cruisers, farmers, Transit school bus drivers and the guys from Martinborough Transport.
