MARTINBOROUGH WINE AND FOOD SOCIETY.

We held the AGM in May at Brac & Bow restaurant in The Royal Hotel Featherston. With the departure of Lawrence and Shelley Goldsmith, Philippa Pointon was elected to the post of President, Dave Stewart remains as Treasurer, Peter Rae is Cellarmaster other committee members include Dave Woodhams, Willie Sutherland, Penny Rae and Sue Delamare. 

The AGM was an informal affair, at the Royal Hotel, where you can hire your own elegant space. The excellent food, wine and company was enjoyed by all.

Earlier in the year we had a covid picnic where you brought your own food and we sampled a range of rose’ wines In the lovely garden of Dave Stewart and Gay Chadburn. Gay produced an excellent Gin and Tonic cake, which was very subtly flavoured and enjoyed by everybody (See recipe cooking corner).  

This month we are having a pot luck dinner on an Italian theme. If you are interested in becoming a member of this group and wish to attend as a guest. please ring
