More Orangericks

July 25, 2016 July 2016 No Comments

BY JOHN ANSELL

Limericks that rhyme with orange (which they say doesn’t rhyme with anything!):

Prince William the Silent was foreign: G..
..ermanic, not Dutch, Ecuadoran, J..
..amaican or Spanish
(Whose Catholics he’d banish
As Proddy Prince William of Orange).

The name of the fruit called an orange
Got doctored en route from parts foreign: J..
..ust the same as ‘an adder’
Began as ‘a nadder’
‘An orange’ is really ‘a norange’.

Ex-wife of a mate of mine, Warren, J..
..azal was her name, she was foreign – J..
..ordanian nurse – sold cocaine from a hearse –
Tried to tell me ‘syringe’ was spelt ‘SORinge’.

This next one requires an American accent:

Dead fool went out boozin’ and whorin’, Du..
..e mainly to school bein’ borin’, J..
..oined up with the Feds,
Went to Nam to kill Reds,
Drank his vodka with straight Agent Orange.
