A great night

October 17, 2012 October 2012 Comments Off on A great night

Last Anzac day 3 young ladies decided they would like “an excuse to get dressed up”. One thing led to another and they came up with the idea of celebrating the Martinborough Hall Centenary with a Cabaret/Ball.

After several meetings with hall committee members and lots of hard work and organisation it all came together on Saturday 22 September and what a great night it was. A scrumptious meal was followed by a blind auction which raised $4,500 and Wellington band “Noodles” provided great dancing music.

Thank you to all the sponsors and everybody who helped make this night a big success, and congratulation to Leah Hawkins, Rebecca Mills and Amanda Savage for a job well done.

A happy reveller.
