Christmas parade

The Christmas parade will beheld on Sunday 15th. Commencing at 5pm. Floats please gather at Martinborough Transport yard by 4pm.

The parade will be followed by Carols in the Square brought to you by MADCAPS. Song sheets will be available.

So, wrap up warm, bring a picnic tea and something to drink and join in with the Christmas Spirit.

Choral Concert

The Martinborough group is mainly an acappella choir, but a few of the songs are accompanied either by Vicki Jones on bass, or by Murray Parker on guitar. They will open the concert with the first set, followed by ‘Novella’, a  South Wairarapa women’s vocal quintet, who accompany themselves on guitar, ukulele and mandolin.

The second half of the concert will start with the Featherston Gentlemen Singers, conducted by Marguerite Tait-Jamieson, and accompanied by Martin Lawrence. The Martinborough Choir will do another set, and the concert will finish with Christmas songs, with audience participation and Dawn Procter at the keyboard. … Continue Reading
