July was certainly a cold and wet month with frosts and even snow in some areas. It seems the Grumpy’s and Thursday boys were the only ones who ventured out to play.

The 9 hole women have played only two out of the four weeks due to the bad weather and the 18 holers also suffered the same dismal conditions. However a combined 9 and 18 hole competition is forecast for August and it proves that both do get along with each other and club champs are also on the horizon. … Continue Reading

We at the club are so lucky with our members. Bill & Mavis Jones have kindly donated a Barbecue which will certainly come in handy at the next Junior Open so thank you so much you two.

The ‘Wakefield Bell’ has been given a spit and a polish as well as a new lanyard thanks to Shane Arndell and now that its origins are known it would seem a fitting time at resurrecting a team event between the Navy and members of the club.
