Back from a break down South where I met some interesting people along the way. I spent a night with Freeman Jackson an ex club captain and his wife Hazel which was very enjoyable and one of the highlights of my trip.

I also went to Ashburton and caught up with some of my old mates, the “lefties” who had just finished their week of Nationals. The poor chaps played in some terrible weather conditions.
But on the club scene it has been a steady month. The St John Wairarapa Charity tournament proved again to be successful thanks to Terry Blacktop and his band of willing workers together with the sponsors who make this event possible and of course the club’s support. … Continue Reading

Firstly on behalf of us all at JAB a big shout out to Josh Hawkins, James Bruce , Rob Marshall, Dusty & Lulu and team. We all enjoyed the magnificent show at the Bull Riding event the kids are still buzzing about it.

This season has started with great enthusiasm. It’s great to see the number of young children of our senior players coming through the ranks! We have been very fortunate to have Dave Kingi our Wellington Rugby Development Co-ordinator giving a helping hand to our coaches’.
